Wes grew up in the glamour of the Oklahoma oil business until he was 12, when the oil company that employed his father moved father and family to Jakarta, Indonesia, where Wes was awed and delighted with the culture, the seafood, and the scuba diving. At the Joint Embassy School he met teenagers from all over the world, broadening his Oklahoma horizons. A subsequent family move to Singapore, an impeccable city with the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, further opened his eyes to the world. Wes attended high school and graduated there. After he graduated, he went on to get his Associate of Science in Petroleum Technology and Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University. He was recruited by Zapata, an off-shore drilling company. He then moved to Colorado and subsequently to Denver. He owned and operated a popular restaurant for 5 years called the Black Timber Tavern. At the same time, he started purchasing investment properties which ultimately led him to his career as a real estate broker.
Wes specializes in Central Denver which encompasses the neighborhoods in and around downtown, including the Highlands, Berkley and Sunnyside neighborhoods. His true core of expertise is the southeast segment of the city wihich includes the neighborhoods of The Denver Country Club, Cherry Creek, Hilltop, Crestmoor, Cheesman Park, Congress Park, Washington Park, Belcaro, Platte Park, Bonnie Brae, Cory Merrill and Observatory Park. Due to extensive training and experience with corporate relocation, Wes has worked the entire metro area including communities in the foothills like Evergreen and Conifer. After thirteen years in the business and having been personally involved in income property transactions, Wes has been able to impart his knowledge and wisdom to help his investor clientele make wise investments.
Fiance to Jenna and father to two sons, Austin and Aidan, Wes enjoys golf, scuba diving and traveling to tropical destinations.
